Instagram continues to innovate its Stories feature with the introduction of four new stickers designed to boost creativity and user engagement. This move comes shortly after the platform announced changes to its algorithm, signaling a renewed focus on interactive and engaging content.
The Frames sticker allows users to display photos in a nostalgic Polaroid format within their Stories. A unique 'Shake to reveal' feature makes the experience interactive, as followers need to shake their phones to uncover the hidden photo. Users can also add captions, with the date and time of the original photo automatically included.
The Reveal sticker introduces a novel way to engage with followers through hidden Stories that are made visible only when a follower sends a direct message. This sticker simplifies interaction as it does not require approval for each message to reveal the Story.
Expanding on the popular 'Add Yours' feature, the Add Yours Music sticker lets users share their current favorite tracks and discover what their followers are listening to. This sticker creates a community space within Stories where music preferences are shared and explored.
The Cutouts sticker enhances creativity by allowing users to create custom stickers from elements within their photos or videos. This feature automatically detects and extracts elements to be used as stickers, with manual fine-tuning available if needed. These custom stickers can be reused in various Stories, enhancing personalization and creative expression.
Instagram has begun rolling out these stickers today, and they will be available to users gradually.
